Welcome to the Atlanta Law Libraries Association (ALLA) website! ALLA’s purpose is to promote the profession of law librarianship, enhance the role of law librarians in the legal and library professions, provide further professional education to law librarians, and to establish and foster relationships between law librarians, other members of the profession, and legal entities in the state of Georgia (Bylaws).

To further these goals, ALLA hosts monthly chapter meetings from September through May each year on a variety of topics of interest to our members. We are active in the Atlanta community throughout the year, partnering with both legal and non-legal organizations on community services projects. ALLA also provides a listserv, job board, and a private membership directory to foster communication between members. To become a member of ALLA, please visit the Documents tab and submit an application to the current treasurer.

The ALLA Executive Board is comprised of a president, vice president/president-elect, secretary, treasurer, two members-at-large, and an immediate past president. Contact information for the current board can be found on the Officers & Committees tab.
